A 1995 article from Arboretum magazine Arnoldia describes the different species of plum yews, touching on the Arboretum’s history of collecting and conserving the plant. Chinese plum yew was introduced into North American cultivation by Arboretum plant explorer Ernest Wilson in 1907. The Arboretum currently grows four species of Cephalotaxus.
